YOUR CHURCH  Dynamic Equipping Programs

The purpose of A Journey in Disciple Making is to provide your men’s ministry leadership team with biblically based, value oriented programs to use in creating a comprehensive, disciple making process which will give your men what they need in the context of what they want. Disciples of Jesus Christ are found in a local congregation. It is in the local congregation that a Christian man steps into a vital men’s ministry program. The Journey is a comprehensive, multi-year curriculum that equips men to be mentored, equipped, and sent, and to live into the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19).

No Man Left Behind - Reaching Every Man
www.reachingeveryman.com
A man can’t take that first step into The Journey without a men’s ministry infrastructure in place in his congregation. We rely on Pat Morley’s No Man Left Behind model to initiate and establish an effective ministry to men in the local church.

Purpose: To equip local congregations with effective tools for developing a vibrant ministry to all of their men through “A Journey in Disciple Making.”

Reaching Every Man will inspire your men to:
• Create, capture and sustain momentum among men
• Connect every ministry effort into one compelling vision
• Consistently provide men with a credible next step
• Maximize current efforts reaching men before creating new ones
• Implement a strategy that God can use to change men, marriages, families and communities

Who should attend?
• Men eager to develop a ministry to men
• Men’s ministry leaders
• Men interested in knowing more about ministry to men
• Pastors, clergy
• Christian men from every church in Southwest Florida! The four-hour workshop includes workbook and a meal or refreshments.

Entry Points
The use of non-threatening entry points, such as bi-monthly dinner events, sports-related outings, and other opportunities to make an initial effort by personal invitation to draw men into a local congregation, is key.

Group Study Programs
“Seeking Him”
Seeking Him is a 12-week experience in personal, spiritual revival. The study was inspired by Psalm 69:32b: “You who seek God, let your hearts revive.” Each interactive lesson features five days of individual study followed by a group discussion section. Participants are renewed and revitalized as they explore topics including: honesty, humility, repentance, grace, obedience, and others. This is an ideal small group, user-friendly program.

Spiritual Disciplines
A Man’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines by Patrick Morley presents 12 habits to strengthen your walk with Christ. Morley says “Spiritual strength, like surgical skill or athletic excellence, requires training and practice. To become the kind of man who walks with God and wields Christ’s influence in your world, you’ll want to begin a consistent regimen of spiritual exercises.

Accountability Groups
The formation of small groups of four to five men who meet weekly can be a vital element in the growth of a man’s spiritual life. These groups provide accountability, and encouragement, as well as challenge us to reach our potential as men of God.

Rev. Robert Lewis / Men’s Fraternity Programs
www.mensfraternity.com
This manhood series was developed by the Rev. Robert Lewis, former Senior Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. Each weekly session of the video-based program includes fellowship, teaching, and small group discussion.

Year One: The Quest for Authentic Manhood
This is the foundational level or ground floor of manhood. This 24 session study focuses on a man’s core identity and gives an overview of basic manhood issues. Throughout the course of study, men will learn how to clearly define manhood and will finally be able to give a succinct and passionate answer to the questions: “What is a man?” and “What am I living to be?”

Year Two: Winning at Work & Home
The 16 session study focuses on the two areas that are central to a man’s life: career and family. It will begin to build the walls of manhood through study dealing with a man’s chief responsibilities. It explores how a man can enjoy and engage in his work and how he can relate to a woman in a whole new way.

Year Three: The Great Adventure
A captivating journey comprised of 20 sessions, this series helps men understand their masculine identity and shows them how to make the pursuit of authentic biblical manhood a lifelong priority that is incorporated into the fabric of their everyday lives.

“Christian Leadership Concepts”
www.christianleadershipconcepts.org
All men find themselves in some kind of leadership role… and most men feel unprepared to provide that leadership. Responsibilities at home, church, in business, or in the community require men to be leaders. CLC is dedicated to equipping men to provide leadership based on sound biblical principles and spiritual power, in every area of their lives. CLC is a two-year, weekly program designed to bring glory to God by equipping men to initiate and lead for Christ.

Rev. Robert Lewis / Becoming a Man
www.mensfraternity.com
Few things are more important to a young man than having a clear vision of what it means to be a man. Few things are more empowering to a son than receiving that vision from his dad. Becoming a Man: A Father and Son Journey Together gives fathers and sons (ages 16-19) the opportunity to explore real manhood together. Each small group session begins with the video teachings of Robert Lewis helping fathers and sons examine masculinity from a biblical perspective. Following the video, fathers and sons will interact with each other through stories and discussion questions to lay the foundation for living as a godly man for a lifetime.

“Leading and Loving”
www.worldteach.com
This six week program by Bruce Wilkinson of Walk Thru the Bible Ministries and author of The Prayer of Jabez, uses dynamic, videotaped teaching sessions. Participants will use workbooks and small group discussion to facilitate in-depth study.
